I think it was T.G Masaryk who said “however many languages you speak is how many times you are a person”, and I wholeheartedly agree.

I was born in Prague, and then from the age of four, grew up on the east coast of Canada. My second language became my native tongue and now I’m at home in both languages- just as I consider both Canada and the Czech Republic to be home.

I’ve been teaching English in Prague since 2012 and I enjoy the wide scope of people I get to meet from a wide variety of backgrounds. I also enjoy getting to know my students and customizing our lessons to suit their needs and preferences.

When I’m not teaching I’m travelling or planning the next trip, cooking, reading, and attempting to play tennis.

Myslím, že to byl T.G. Masaryk, kdo řekl: „Kolik jazyků umíš, tolikrát jsi člověkem“ a tento citát mi mluví z duše.

Narodila jsem se v Praze, ale od čtyř let jsem vyrůstala na východním pobřeží Kanady. Můj druhý cizí jazyk se stal mým mateřským jazykem a nyní jsou pro mě oba jazyky rodné – stejně jako se cítím doma v Kanadě i v Čechách.

Angličtinu v Praze učím od roku 2012 a líbí se mi, že se setkám s širokou škálou lidí nejrůznějších profesí. Také ráda poznávám své studenty a přizpůsobuji hodiny jejich potřebám a prioritám.

Když zrovna neučím, cestuji nebo plánuji další cestu a pokouším se naučit hrát tenis.
