Originally from the United States, I relocated to Prague after working for eight years as a journalist in Las Vegas and San Francisco where I reported stories about everything from the latest developments in city government to the best new restaurants and shows. Now, I teach General and Business English to adults in major corporations across the city, including Porsche Ceska Republika, HBO Europe, and Warner Bros. as well as many financial institutions and IT companies. In my lessons, I like to focus on developing communication skills that are useful to my students, like how to avoid sounding rude in company emails, how to make small talk or the best techniques for presentations. Above all, I like to make learning English fun and interactive. When I'm not teaching, you can usually find me at a beer garden or outside enjoying nature.
